About the (Re)Brand
Simplified Business Systems (or SBS) is a business operations consulting firm that helps small to medium-sized businesses with simplifying the “clunk” in their systems so that they can focus on doing what they do best — delivering quality service with less headache!
When we first started working together, SBS had a DIY logo that was originally created in Canva, with no supportive brand styling. While this logo served them well, it was too “generic” to be trademarked and required an expert touch. After working together with me, SBS walked away with a unique logo and matching brand style that looks “fun” without being “goofy”, and “creative” without looking “artsy”, and “organized” without being “boring”!
The Inspo
SBS’s aesthetic was inspired by the look and feel of white boards and process mapping tools such as mind maps, sticky notes, markers and graphs. The style often includes colourful shapes / elements and thick, black marker lines overlaid on a plain, white background. The vibe is best described as organized chaos — just like a brainstorm session!
